The GTO model has remained at the core of Adapt's offering since its debut in 2016, and while it has been continuously updated, its essential nature has remained the same; a speedy, reactive, and aesthetically pleasing model encompassing the 'GTO' philosophy.
Adapt has improved the GTO toebox for increased height and width without affecting the overall bulkiness. The foam lining is also improved to maintain optimal comfort. The tongue now features a lacebite-prevention strip with a lace loop to keep everything in place. It really feels comfortable but locked in!
The GTO is now fitted with a removable liner to enhance the fit at the ankle. Heatmolding at low temperatures will form the liner to the foot, limiting pressure points from the cuff and extending the skates' lifespan (top tip - if you only need to heatmold the shell remove the liner first which should prevent unwanted compression). The new removable liner system makes it easier to achieve an ideal fit for every customer.
Loco's version of the skate is sold as seen pre-made, pre-built and ready to dispatch (no wait time for handmade builds). We did not include the powerstrap or the bolt protectors but these can be purchased seperately.
The GTO is built with 1.3mm nubuck leather which is supple yet sturdy. This material forms around your feet instantly, providing a more personalized fit. An air-mesh lining and waxed laces have a snug and cosy feel, which is part of the true Adapt class experience.
The GTO shell is a Hyperskate diolene shell, finished with extra layers of black twill 3k carbon for improved responsiveness and a dark look. Like all Hyperskate models, the GTO is Quatromount ready - though Loco customers will need to purchase the mount directly from Adapt if they wish for this. It is not an essential feature for such and advanced skate.
The Symetics Hyperframe is CNC cut out of 7075 billet aluminium and features a perfectly centred mount to create the ultimate feeling of control, and it comes in two-wheel configurations based on size (as below).
The completely intact frame walls and bridges make sure that the Hyperframe is the strongest freeskate frame on the market.
The Hyperskate GTO is completed with the Symetrics Superfast wheels and the new Symetrics 7-ball ABEC9 bearings.
